IAA 2018 SS FASHION SHOW: POLARITY

Based on this theme, I explored the relationship between left handed people and right handed people (Mainly the change in prejudices).

I am a left handed people and been forced to use my right hand to write due to society’s prejudice. When I was a kid, I was punished for using my left hand subconsciously, and now I forget how to use my left hand. Therefore, I want to adjust the prejudice of left handed people.

According to history, left-handed people were considered as evil and negative things. But this opinion was changed through the time. So my collection is showing the process of the change of prejudice. I designed avant-garde silhouettes to show the changing and the dark green canvas to show the prejudice. The waving part is showing the messy relationship between left handed people and right handed people. I want to appeal that there is no prejudice no matter if you're left hand or right hand.
